ADIDAS clearly needs no introduction! One of the biggest companies in the sports industry and of course one of the best in the world! Adidas, of course, was not always the business giant we all know today. In 1948 the brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler, after a personal dispute, decided to split the family business, which had been manufacturing shoes since the end of World War I. After the final rift between the two brothers, Adolf created Adidas which was named after its creator, Adolf (Adi) Dassler. From 1950 onwards, the company gradually began to gain a good reputation in the field of sports and many football players and teams began to choose Adidas shoes, which were innovative for their time. The company then, began to manufacture and sell other sports goods besides shoes, such as soccer balls and clothing. Sport is written in the DNA of the company and this is shown by the slogan of Adidas, "Through Sports We Have The Power To Change Lives". Adidas’ purpose is to unite the world through sports and help everyone out there discover their unique abilities and push their limits.
